Module 2: Regulatory Framework and Pilot Responsibilities
Explain the authority and responsibility of the pilot in command, emergency deviation authority, the prohibition on careless or reckless operation, required pilot and aircraft documents, preflight action, the use of safety belts, right-of-way rules, the rule on dropping objects, the use of the applicable portions of the Aeronautical Information Manual and FAA advisory circulars, and the NTSB accident/incident notification, wreckage-preservation, and reporting requirements of 49 CFR Part 830.
